Our Facilities

The academy has a five year development plan in which time we have been and shall be investing heavily to get things underway. We currently have imported over a thousand tons of rocks and boulders, brought in massive concrete pipes and loads of logs with which our world famous trials rider/architect has built some amazing sections.

We could not have found a better person in Graham Jarvis to develop the ground. Graham’s past track record speaks for itself. Winner of five British Championships, four Scottish Six Day titles, nine Scott Trial wins and has taken part in several world GP rounds. He has now moved on from trials to extreme enduro and has already won world titles, no doubt helped out by his massive trials experience.

So far at the academy we have had grants from Sports Scotland to help us install an almost totally self-sufficient toilet block which harvests rain water from the roofs of our workshop and training room and has solar panels to provide power and light. We have also planted over nine hundred trees so far, and making our riders aware of current “green” issues is high priority and will help offset our carbon footprint.

New family and spectator “clean areas” are currently being made to allow them to watch the action from and a small café is also in the planning.  Again grants have made it possible for us to have six hundred slabs laid recently and fences erected.
